What Is Yang Gong Feng Shui ?

Lately, you may have been hearing more and more about  Yang Gong Feng Shui, but what exactly is it? What is it, and how and where can it be learned ?

Where to Learn Yang Gong Feng Shui

Yang Gong Feng Shui is also called the Feng Shui of Emperors, and as such, it is only taught in China. You can study it at various schools, either in Chinese or English. In Chinese schools such as San Lio or Ganzhou, instruction is in Chinese, with variable fees and sometimes quarterly royalties. In English, only one teacher offers the course: professor Dr Yang Kim Woon. The course fee is fixed and does not require royalties. A training session is scheduled for next year, from March 6 to April 1, 2020.

What Yang Gong Feng Shui Can Offer

Yang Gong Feng Shui focuses almost entirely on the environment, which is significant because the environment accounts for 70 to 80% of Feng Shui effects. In traditional Feng Shui, we know about the Twelve Growth Phases. In Yang Gong, these phases are used constantly. By combining the environment with the Twelve Growth Phases, we can understand the influences on your home or workplace. The placement of a mountain, river, or stream has an impact, and this is the type of information we look for to determine what is happening energetically in your space.

Is It Compatible with Traditional Feng Shui?

In China, masters who practice Yang Gong Feng Shui using the ancient method (the original method, passed down orally and in writing) do not use Ba Zhai, San Yuan, or San He. They do not focus on the interior of a home. Their principle is: if the exterior is good, there is no need to look inside, recalling that the environment accounts for 70 to 80% of Feng Shui effects. Two lineages of Yang Gong Feng Shui using the new method (transmitted in writing) teach this practice. One has developed San Yuan, the other San He. Traditional Feng Shui has proven its effectiveness over many years, even centuries—just like Yang Gong. The two can be combined to create a more complete and powerful Feng Shui practice.

When and Where to Use It

Yang Gong Feng Shui is applied in both Yang Feng Shui and Yin Feng Shui. Yang Feng Shui is used for homes and apartments, shops, shopping centers, factories, land selection, and the placement of houses or cities. Yin Feng Shui is used for tomb construction, Sheng Ji (Yin Feng Shui for the living), and places of worship. As with traditional Feng Shui, the earlier you consult a practitioner, the sooner you can make positive changes.
