Yang Gong Feng Shui : Interpreting The Natural Environment

Yang Gong Feng Shui is distinguished by its exclusive focus on the environment. Every mountain, every river, every terrain feature influences the place being studied—sometimes even from several kilometers away. The orientation of the entrance door and the location of the building capture these effects, whether beneficial or harmful. This analysis is not limited to the immediate terrain; it also takes into account the deep “breath” of the landscape.

The Origins : Yang Yun Song

This lineage can be traced back more than 1,200 years, to the Tang dynasty. Yang Yin Song, official master to the Emperors, is considered the founder of Yang Gong Feng Shui. Nicknamed “Yang, the Savior of the Poor,” he left the capital for Ganzhou, where he continued his research and trained disciples. His writings—such as the Tang She and the Tian Yu Jing—laid the foundations for a form of Feng Shui focused on the relationship between human beings and their environment. Traces of his work can still be seen in Ganzhou, including pagodas, temples, houses, and tombs.

Transmission And Interpretation

Yang Yun Song’s teachings were transmitted both through written classics and through an oral tradition that was essential to understanding their subtleties. Without this oral dimension, the text becomes partial and sometimes misinterpreted. This gave rise to what is know as the « new method », a mixture of the original Yang Gong with elements of San He or San Yuan.

A Rare And Living Lineage

Today, only a few Masters worldwide hold the complete teachings of Ganzhou Yang Gong Feng Shui. In China, Malaysia, and Europe, this lineage is preserved with rigor. I am one of the few teachers authorized to guide students to the Masters who will pass on this knowledge. Apprenticeships are conducted in China or Malaysia.

Choosing Yang Gong Feng Shui grants access to a rare and demanding tradition, deeply rooted in the study and interpretation of the natural landscape.
