Naturally, a baby or young child seeks what is best for them, so they instinctively try to position themselves in a favorable direction. They follow their natural feelings. Generally, as we grow older, we stop paying attention to this instinct. A baby, regardless of their group, will often place their head toward a positive direction for them. For example, a child in the East Group might naturally orient their head toward north. However, if the crib is oriented toward a negative direction, such as west, the baby may turn sideways in the crib to find a better direction. Of course, attentive parents often reposition the baby in the center of the crib, unaware that this may not be optimal for them. Over time, the baby may adapt to the negative energy of this direction, eventually lying toward the west. This negative orientation can cause the baby to “experience” or endure the energy, which may become a block or obstacle for them.
